We check who participants are, watch for fraud and automation, show you the evidence behind every submission, and refund confirmed fraud automatically.
Verified before they see a study
- L1 · Device and network checks Device fingerprinting, duplicate-device detection, and VPN, proxy, and data-center network checks.
- L2 · Verified PayPal A PayPal account that PayPal has verified, one per person. Studies are open only from this level.
- L3 · ID verification A government ID and selfie check, triggered by risk signals, random audits, or studies that require it.
- Trust score Built from verification, approved and rejected work, attention and consistency checks, and device and network signals. It sets each person's tier.
Evidence on every response
Each submission comes with the participant's verification level and trust tier, timing against the study's median, and plain-language flags. Add our snippet to your survey for counts of tab switches, pastes, typing speed, automation signals, and an optional hidden check for AI agents. It never records answers.

When we confirm an account was fraudulent, we refund every lab it took part with for the past 90 days, without anyone having to ask.
