Accessibility statement

We want everyone to be able to take part in research and run studies on Populiva, including people who use assistive technology.

Our standard

We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA across populiva.com, in English and Spanish.

What we do

Every change is tested with automated accessibility checks (axe) on every kind of page, public and signed in. Pages use real buttons, links, and labels; work with a keyboard; keep text contrast at 4.5:1 or more; and make touch targets at least 44 pixels. Form errors are announced and linked to their fields.

Known limitations

We haven't had an independent accessibility audit yet. PDFs we generate (provenance reports and invoices) aren't fully tagged for screen readers; each provenance report also has an accessible web page and JSON version. Studies run in researchers' own survey tools, which we don't control.

Tell us about a problem

If something is hard to use, email us and we'll respond within two business days and work on a fix.
