LimeSurvey
LimeSurvey saves parameters from the link through Panel integration. Map each ID to a hidden question so it's stored with every response.
-
1. Save the IDs from the link
Add three short-text questions (for example in a hidden group) to hold the IDs. In Survey settings, open Panel integration and add three URL parameters with exactly these names, each pointing to one of those questions as its target:
PARTICIPANT_ID STUDY_ID SESSION_ID -
2. Send participants back when they finish
In Survey settings, open Text elements and set the End URL to your study's completion address. Then, in Presentation, turn on Automatically load end URL when survey complete. Copy the exact address from your study page:
For screen-outs, use quota or end-of-survey logic that redirects with your screen-out completion code instead.

3. Tell participants
Your consent page should say the study is recruited through Populiva and that you receive an anonymous ID, not names or emails. If your LimeSurvey administrator allows scripts and you add our quality snippet, say that the survey records activity counts, not answers.
Test before you launch
Open your survey link with test values added, for example ?PARTICIPANT_ID=test&STUDY_ID=1&SESSION_ID=test, and check that the three values are saved with your test response.
The snippet ignores sessions it doesn't know, so tests don't create data. The completion address will say there's no active study for you; that's expected outside a real session.
